PSU/ Sabin CDC Art Walk!!! (May 29th)


Come join Sabin CDC and PSU for the monthly "Last Thursday Art Walk" on May 29th (6 - 9PM). Professor Jamie Ross and her Freshmen Inquiry class will be sharing there project with the Alberta community for the monthly art walk at the following locations:

*Rock's (1934 NE Alberta) - Grand Opening!!!

*Helser's (1538 NE Alberta) - Open late for this event.

Learn Video Production for FREE!


Come join us for the Orientation. Orientation date: (TBA)-Summer 2008
Classes will be held on Saturdays at PCC Cascade Campus/ Room 215

This is a FREE course, held at Portland Community College's Cascade Campus. This workshop will teach you the basic fundamentals of digital video production using state of the art Video equipment and Final Cut Pro. Bring in YOUR old footage (home movies, weddings, submissions to Americas Funniest Home Videos, etc.) and making them shine with the addition of titles, music, graphics and more!!!

Fernwood Middle School Multimedia


Sabin CDC and Fernwood Middle School's "SUN Schools" program has combined forces to show what its' bright young minds can do. The students (grades 6-8) of Fernwood have produced a short documentary about the SUN School program and would love for everyone to see it. We at Sabin are proud of the accomplishment of these bright young minds and look forward to working with the SUN Schools program in the future. Alberta Street Revitalization

In 1995, Sabin CDC started working with business and property owners, neighborhood residents and other community members on revitalization projects in the Alberta Street corridor.

Substantial strides have been made since then, and now the Alberta Street corridor is a vibrant, diverse and thriving community.
